Journal Entry 1 – Start Somewhere

These are the words of Albin Johnson. Some will associate me with certain clubs or communities or activities, but none of that is the focus here. Here I write what speaks to my heart and mind. Much like Marcus Aurelius’ writings, these are a personal exercise in thought and reason and flights of fancy meant mostly for myself. If they germinate into something that has an audience, then perhaps the purpose and content will change. But for now, they are the semi-structured ramblings of a mind searching for truth. I seek no malice to any man. I seek no profit for myself. I seek no glory or praise or confirmation. I merely seek. To this purpose would all men and women strive, merely to understand and be better for it.

Pax sit eis qui haec verba legunt.

“Peace be to those who read these words.”
